I am looking for more information regarding my great-great grandfather William Ross Macarthur born 20 Aug 1854 in Tarbert, Inverness. His brother was John Stewart Macarthur born 1850 and owned Macarthur House in Glasgow @ 15 St. John's Road (which is still standing)who also began the company Blacklock & Macarthur (manufacturers of paints, oils, varnishes).My mother & I are visiting Glasgow this August & would love to find out more before we come over.
